Crack vs Cocaine Addicting Qualities
In comparison to the addictiveness of crack and cocaine. I have heard that crack is so addictive that one time use will get you addicted. Is this true? How does it compare to the addictive qualities of snorting cocaine?

Re: Crack vs Cocaine Addicting Qualities
They both do the same thing, smoking it just hits you faster.
Most people start out snorting, then move on to crack when snorting isn't effective for a good high anymore.
I'd say 90 percent of crackheads started out sniffing the shit.
BTW, you could get hooked on chocolate your first time trying it. THats just gov't propaganda to make people too scared to try it.
Crack is a dirty drug anywho. I dont know any respectable crackheads.

Re: Crack vs Cocaine Addicting Qualities
Depends on what you mean by addiction.
Cocaine in any form causes compulsion to continue using it. Shooting coke is a perfect example of this. If you have a half gram of coke, it can last you 3-6 hours. But every time you mix up a shot and bang it, you're already mixing up the next, then the next, then the next, until you are out of cocaine. But once you are out of blow, after an hour or 2 of comedown, you're fine. Eat and go to bed. Same thing with crack. And gambling. Same dopamine reward circuits firing.
Not addictive in the sense of opioids- a metabolic dependancy that changes your body.

Re: Crack vs Cocaine Addicting Qualities
Crack, as compared to cocaine, causes a much larger rush from being inhaled, and is a lot stronger because of this. This may help strengthen any psychological addiction because of the stronger rush and increased chemicals in the brain.
