Ok i recently bought 12.5 grams of San Pedro Cactus from a headshop. The guy said that it's best to boil with water and lemon and drink. I'd just like some advice and experiences from other people. Also how long does it roughly last and what would be a good dose? The guy in the head shop told me i should take it all and that it lasts around 12 hours but i'd still like to hear from you guys.

The guy at the headshop is right. Check erowid for some good consumption recipes. Basicly, the one you're doing is good though. You should buy one of those cactus's and if you're in canada get a peyote like I have and then graft the peyote onto the san pedro(which grows faster). They combine and then have a greater mescaline yield do the peyote.

Very good investment if you ask me.

it is more consistent in potency and contains a narrow range of alkaloids (there is more than just mescaline) so it's easier to dose. but it's uncommon for it to be stronger than good pachanoi
