Default the MGB check up:

I am pretty SOBER right now, and was wondering what ever did happen to MGB?. I've heard of different reports that mike ended up going to jail, and also reports that he skipped out and said sorry.

Anyone know of the final out come?, what happened?.

thanks.

He didn't scam anyone. He was scammed by kiddies who stole their parent CC's who then had the payments stopped.

Mike had a lot of personal issues going on that he didn't disclose.

At one point, last anyone spoke to him, he was suicidal.

He believed he had no friends and all his "friends" just wanted his products.

He genuinely liked several members but also thought a lot of them were kissing his ass to get better deals/free products.

He apologized for skipping out on his business, leaving everyone who ordered hanging.

And he promised to one day repay everyone he owes.

That's the last I heard. He's going through some soft of life-crisis.

Give the man a break, even if he owes you some measy money.

He'll get it back to you in the future when he is back on his feet.

And if not, karma goes around.

I've always loved Mike, I don't care what anyone says. He's a good guy.

Also, we've had countless threads over this already. So I'll let the discussion go on a bit more but I'm closing it down after a bit.

Wrong. He scammed lots of people, his site was up for MONTHS after he stopped sending orders, and many people mailed in money for products which were never delivered. Accepting money for a product and then not delivering said product is a scam. Accept it.

He was good to totse. I liked him. He sent me free stuff, but I would have liked him even if he didn't. He generally just seemed like an all round nice guy. I remember his views on running a business and how it should be about pleasing the customer, not purely profit orientated (like most herbal sites). I miss him.

But what he did was a scam. Not that I really give a shit, I've done worse things than scamming people. Everyone goes through rough patches and he probably regrets what he did.

E: In response to panthrax, I am not trying to insult him. If you're debating suicide then scamming some people doesn't really seem significant. I agree that people should just let it rest. It wasn't that big of a deal anyways. But when a mod posts bullshit I am going to point it out.

Yeah, because everyone who ordered from him just sent cash in the mail. Not checks or money orders or anything. Just straight cash.

Mike is doing okay. We just spoke about my taking over MGB for him. He graduated, and is out at sea as a marine biologist. His legal troubles, for the most part, are over and has limited internet access nowadays. He should be in the states sometime in the near future.

Just because someone is outwardly nice, and seems like a good person, doesnt mean they are.
Any good con man is going to make himself seem like your friend, and get to the point where you would never believe he would do such a thing.

Now im not accusing this guy of being a scam artist from the get go, because he was running his business very well for a good while, but I think he probably needed some fast cash and knew what he "had" to do.
