Ok, my mg scale just arrived :)

I put it on the table and placed the 5g weight on it and it measures out anywhere from 5.007 to 5.013.

The scale starts off at 0. I'm using this scale to measure out 2c-e and do not want to be off by 7-13mgs.

milligram scales are susceptible to things like slight air currents and static electricity. You can get anti static guns. You can also buy/build somthing to minimise air currents around the balance.

You could also weigh out a reasonably large sample, dissolve, and split the liquid, thus lessening the impact of being a few migs out...

You also need to ensure the blance is level - there's probably a circular spirit level built in, and adjustable legs.

And yes, read the fucking manual...

Try to get the initial number it goes to and just use that instead of what it floats to.

I made a thread with lots of stuff on these scales, give it a good read. Try playing around with it too. Also, unless you're injecting that 2C-E,then don't worry about accuracy much.

Make sure there are no air drafts.

elimnate air flow and static, find a manual using google, press the fucking calibrate button and do what it fucking tells you on the screen...

lol, In the lab I'm working at, our scale has these two glass doors on it, like a little 8" 2door standalone cabinet. It's actually really cool, cause it is soooo overkill in keeping air current out.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, I used to use a simple glovebox for my measurments. Worked pretty well.

i told you pope, those scales are only really good for weed. theres no calibration for it, and theres no way to get the most out of it for actually weighing things in mg. cell phone waves also interrupt most scales. so dont be on your cell phone and keep it far away when measuring things. ill tell you the truth, if your gunna be measuring RC's and chems that are in the mg dose, your gunna need a better scale. that one is just not gunna cut it.
