They just throw the buds on top of a table or desk when prepping their stuff to roll or pack a bowl and blow all the loose dust and pieces away when they're done. I usually use a creased white piece of paper to save the THC dust from going to waste.

All depends on how much you originally have. Of course, anybody would be like that if all you had was a few bowls or something.

I have a friend that will throw his buds on my computer table, crush it with his fingers, not take out stems and just smoke it... and he has been smoking for 7 years and is NO newb. I always have a small green or yellow bowl (small ikea bowls) that I use, always clean, and when I am done with it, it goes in the sink... and I smoke all my weed out of a dirty stanky ass bong :)
