Say that the medication is lasting too long and makes you have trouble falling asleep because of the duration of it. Tell him youve been having to wake up a few hours earlier than normal to take the medication just so it wears off by the time you go to bed.

I just got switch from ritalin to adderall IR today. Basically I told him that ritalin wasn't working the way it should and so he suggested adderall. He mentioned XR and IR but I told him that I want control over when I feel like I need it. He's starting me off at 5mg IR but next time I'll just say that it has helped better than ritalin in that it helps me focus and is less of a stimulant that causes racing thoughts but it doesn't feel strong enough and taking more than 2 daily seems to have better effects with still no side effects.

Thats what i was on before, i HATED that shit. 80mgs a day sucked.
