I don't know exactly what your asking but if you want the hppd to go away stop all use of psychoactive drugs and hope.

Flashbacks seem to occur randomly or when something subconsciously reminds you of an experience on that drug. I'm unsure as to if anyone actually knows why they happen.

If you've only ever had one flashback then you don't have hppd dude.

Not really. I would place flashbacks in the category of acute HPPD, whereas there are also plenty of symptoms that come on much slower or just are always there.

For instance, tracers and color shifts are fairly low intensity HPPD, and they don't really distract me at all. Whereas I've had one flashback and it was just like a minute-long return to when I was on 2c-x, but even more visual.

Not all HPPD is flashbacks, but all flashbacks are HPPD.

HPPD =/= FLASHBACKS

A flashback is basically like an intensely concentrated event of HPPD, while HPPD as a disorder is constant and isn't sporadic.

I have HPPD, not flashbacks, except i had one when i iv'ed fentanyl.

and to Dr. Mayhem, yes i had hppd from diphen at one point but that faded away. My current issue is a result of acid and shrooms. :/
