I took a part a large speaker and there is enough room to grow one plant. i hooked up some lighting and ventilation but will one plant smell? the ventilation doesnt go outside just circulatesin my bedroom. I live with my parents and dont want the smell to leak into my room from the speaker. thanks for the help

Dude? Are you nuts or what? A grow can be smell many 100' away if precautions aren't taken. Sure one plant isn't 50, still smells though.

Windows let the smell out & if they're closed the furnace will blow it out side.

I don't know about you? There used to be a grow-op (how big I don't know...) down my street, that I kind of miss. I used to be happily walking along & ... BANG! I'd smell that smell??? The smell of Loooovvve around you!

Maybe it doesn't hit everyone's nose that way, but it just fills my whole mind. So thick, so rich so dreamy. It's just a smell with so much depth. You know something...be going on. Maybe you don't know what?

Overgrow (taken down 31/1/06: Two Effin' Years!) used to have some good pages about stopping the smell with fans & activated carbon. Prob one of the reasons they were busted, I mean besides selling seeds.

A friend i knew had a closet grow going on and you could just stand like right in front of his closet door and smell it..and the plant wasnt even a foot tall and just had leaves sprouting, no bud formation or anything.

I've got three plants in my house, and I sure as hell can't smell them outside. They aren't budding yet, but I know someone that has grown a dozen plants in his house (and he lives in the middle of suburbia) and nobody noticed and I couldn't smell it outside his house either...

Some varieties smell more than others. Some people's noses are closed to the world.
