To say something is acid based means that it was made with acid [Think water or oil based paints], and there's just no such thing.

The heat created by the pressure used to press tablets is enough to destroy LSD. I've seen e's that have had acid dropped on them, but well, me and a mate did that with a vial of liquid that we had. I'd hazard a guess that your friend chomped down a 2c-e or 2c-b based pill.

Actually - despite my snide commentary that he could've just misunderstood commentary on an a/b isolation of alkaloids from a reaction mixture - I'm guessing that, much like the "triple-dipped mescaline microdot" and other acts of genius, you'll end up eating a 4-substituted 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine, alpha-methylated or otherwise.

On a related note, I went to a party on friday night and was having a conversation about LSD with some guy there. I said it was awesome, and he said he was afraid to try it because (and I fucking quote), "You never know what's in it. It's usually like coke and rat poison and shit". Note that we only ever get acid on blotter tabs around here as well. When I asked him how the FUCK you would put cocaine on a blotter tab, he replied that he didn't know, but that he was SURE that it was true.

I think that was the first and only time I've facepalmed in real life.

ive seen and had e with acid in it (dropped on maybe, i dont know) but i know for a fact that it was lsd and mdma, and nothing else.

you could be getting that, or 2cb, other than that i dont see what else it could possibly be.
