All hindu gods are different facets of the one god.

Well, some Hindu's believe this. The thing about Hinduism is that it isn't really a cohesive religion with a set dogma and belief system in the way western religions are. It's more of a loose association of cults that anything else. So while some Hindus would agree with the multifaceted God, others would scoff at the idea.
