I have some money (yay) and i would like to order some kratom off the web (reputable english website, bought some hookah tobacco from them before) and would like to know what extract/leaf/capsules would be best for a first time kratom experience.

Look on the EDIT forums about the legal highs.

Well firstly, I don’t have any first hand experience with edit so I couldn't comment on their quality.. but as far the Maeng Da, -it’s a far better option than your first choice. These X extracts lack, plus I'm not to fond of the way certain places advertise/promote kratom.

The Maeng Da when obtained from a solid source is strong -so only a little would be needed (2-4grams) especially if it’s your first time. The Maeng Da you must understand is very much stimulating, more so than other strain/types of kratom which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the individual and what kind of experience you are looking for.

My personal recommendation to you would be to search the threads here at BLTC and read the threads pertaining to kratom/vendors/ect... Once you’ve decided on a vendor consider attaining some quality Bali or Thai kratom.
