My best friend's mom just found weed and a bowl in his room. He's grounded for a matter of weeks, and they undoubtedly think I got him to start smoking, which is complete bullshit. He's grounded from hanging out with any of his friends, but they permitted him to hang out with his girlfriend since she's "good for him", aka they think she doesn't smoke.
The weird part:
Soon after I talked to him I called my brother up and told him about it. He knows my friend's sister. After talking to him I get a call from my friend again saying that his sister got a text from my brother on the subject and her mom saw it, got pissed, and told him to call me to make sure that I know she wants to "keep it inside the family". I call my brother up and tell him, and he says he didn't send any text message to anybody about it, something he has no reason to lie about, and if he did have a reason I would still trust him.
So.... WTF? Anybody see something here that I'm missing? Is it a scheme made by his parents to get me into some trouble or something? I don't know what to think. I know most of you really don't give a flying fuck, but maybe somebody here has some ideas.

ok my advice is as followed: first i will start off iwth a story, i started smoking in 7th grade and then quit then i started again in 9th grade and we smoked in my best buds basement, the next morning we listened to his older bro, adn deicded to take the bongs out to the woods at like seven in the morning, well little did we kno hismom waslooking out the window and saw him carring th bongs out into the woods so to finsih the story fast his mom came down and questioned me if i got high last night i said yes, which was a wrong idea i should have said NO, AND DENIY EVERYTHING, but i was young and dumb like five years ago people, but the moral of the story is to trust your friends unless cops are involved, but he told his mom that i didnt get high, so if i lied i would have been scotch free and she wouldnt have called my rents sorry for the rant im drunk nodding and high peace love luck
