Im curious to know if smoking marijuana while tripping on acid will offset each other or if doesnt affect it at all.

Im sure its a noob question but ide appreciate a quick answer.

IMO they go good together (tho I've only had one blotter before, and it was sort of weak). Roll yourself up a joint or two before you start tripping, and if you feel like smoking them, smoke them.

I personally love smoking some ganja when I'm frying. But hey to each his own.They are not going to "offset" each other as you put it. Their just going to boost each other.

don't blaze on your first time.

It dirtys the trip and makes your movement very sluggish.
Also, any weed smoked before the comedown is a waste. Waste as in you feel it for maybe 10 seconds and then you forget you even blazed.

It DOES give a nice body high though, and for some people it makes the trip more intense.
Personally, I prefer indica strains with cid as I can feel it a lot easier whereas with sativa it's a very weird...i duno, it's hard to describe.

If you dont do any other drugs without weed, by all means smoke weed. If you dont combine things with weed often, dont smoke until you comedown like the guy above said. It should give you some more visuals and may make getting to sleep a little bit easier.

Weed is an absolute must with any hallucinogenic substance I consume.

I think it makes the trip more relaxing and makes the visuals more profound.

yeah man, nothing terrible is really going to happen if you toke up while your tripping (i am assuming that you are fairly familiar with smoking pot if your dropping acid of any kind), but like someone said it may chill you out for a minute or something but really not affect you that much at all really. on the come down though, weed is pretty essential to ease the descent (but if this is your first time you might just want to see how acid does things on its own, which is plenty enough).

As people above me have said, and from my personal experiences, tripping on the way up should be discouraged. While it is a waste of weed (as someone said) I find that it also interferes with the come-up, almost slowing it down.

I do, however, insist that you toke at the back of the peak, right before you start to come down (think of it like those plot diagrams from grade school) just after the climax per se. It really makes for a nice transition from the trip, to a mellow euphoria.

it's been a long time since i've tripped but yeah it also makes the come up feel MUCH longer.

Def wait till you start coming down, for me it kinda fogs my trip, making it less clearheaded, also weirder. After you peak when you smoke it kicks it up again to peak, making visuals better, also making it harder to have conversations, its good for just sitting and thinking. I couldnt keep up with a convo when i blazed during my peak, the words didnt come out and shit got crazy. It was fun though.

My friend once drank a few beers (2x 5.2% if i'm not mistaken) while tripping and it was enough to make him forget he was tripping. I'm sure he smoked weed too that time. Must've been pretty freaky though when you completely forget that you're tripping and nothing makes sense :D

Anyways weed+acid is just fine with me. In retrospect I should've smoked the first time I dropped acid, too. It just makes the whole thing much more smoother I think. Also it can be used to cure that small nausea while coming up.

And the thing is, it's a different kinda of peak from the first one.

Whereas with the peak of the just acid, you get colors that are bright and neon-like. But when you smoke pot after that peak the colors are more pastel and you see a lot more geometric shapes.
