Headies, haze, and piff
does anyone else not like all that good shit, i mean, of course i love the high i get. but its just too expensive. 380 an ounce of piff, my ballsack. i love me some good old beisters, the perfect price for the high. i used to think that mids had the best value, at not even 200 an ounce, but then when i started smoking beisters everyday, i realized that not only was the high better, but it was a different high, not the lazy, headache high that i get from mids. who else prefers beisters to any of that exotic shit.
Edit: typo.

Re: Headies, haze, and piff
For me it really depends on the financial situation I'm in.
I'll always prefer the best shit I can get, as long as I can pay the price. The most I've ever paid for an ounce is 380 though, never heard of stuff going for 480.
Since I haven't been able to smoke in a few weeks, when I finally can toke up again in a couple weeks I'll be getting the best possible stuff I can since I've been taking my usual weed money and stockpiling it.
If I'm low on funds though, I've got no problem stopping for a few days and smoking some midds. The reason I always stop for a few days before switching to midds is twofold, so I can get a decent high off of lower quality stuff and so that I appreciate getting stoned again.

i meant to say 380 i hit the wrong key. i would never pay 500 an ounce. cause no matter what the dealer is telling you it is. its not.

I'm in the same boat as you because of prices around here, but friends with hook ups and home grown beats anything!

Re: Headies, haze, and piff
The headies around here are too amazing to not be smoked. I can't even remember the last time I smoked beasters.
Heady blunts

Re: Headies, haze, and piff
I've always been a fan of mids. Not that I like them better per se, but I like to smoke a lot; 2 blunts as opposed to 1 or 2 bowl packs. Perhaps its just the natural smoker in me (I love cigars, hookah, and my pipe).
But, on occasion my supplier will get a qp of some headies and cut me a good deal, so I indulge to say the least.

Re: Headies, haze, and piff
It's all about the price by amount of stoned-ness, or THC you get for it.
example:
say some dank ("headies") was 15% THC and some good midgrade was 7.5% THC. The dank is $300 an ounce while the midgrade is $100 an ounce.
Which is the better deal?

As in? What else do you suggest one call the various types of weed. I wasn't aware of any formalized, non-slang terminology, but by all means enlighten us.

Re: Headies, haze, and piff
home grown beats anything!
If you know what you are doing, you can grow some dy-na-mite!
My friend grew some once that actually gave me hella euphoria, instead of the lazy, stoned, couchlock feeling you get from street pot.
Peace.

my homegrown didnt work out, it was outdoor and for some reason when it budded the buds were filled with seeds. worse than the reg around here, like for every gram there was a .7 of seeds.

Your plants either had a male among them, or the females went hermaphrodite.
Peace.

there were no males. i know what to look for. but my dad told me that even if theres a male within two miles it can contaminate your plant. i dont know if thats true or not, but if it is im sure thats what happened

Re: Headies, haze, and piff
Can you translate this for those of us who don't live in the Gay-Area, California...?
I like smoking hash more really, but unless i'm in the right mood, it's not always that social, more couch locky. I prefer being just stoned to having a racing heart and mind and getting a bit paranoid and mildly sketched out at times, like some weed does to me, or else feeling quiet and self conscious.... as also happens. Then again, some really high quality weed gives me major giggles and is just seriously chilled out and fun, but for a regular smoke I can't handle strong, indoor-grown weed. Too much THC, not enough "better" canibinoids...
It really does vary though, i've smoked outdoor Jamaican weed which has been really quite unpleasant, and thai stuff which has been amazingly lovely, and indoor skunk weed which has led to some of the best nights of my life.
Generally I don't like smoking pot with people that much any more, unless they're close friends, or i'm really in the mood. I'll buy hash mostly, and then weed every now and then, even though it's more expensive... just for the variety. We don't have the choice that you kiddies with the cannabis "health clubs" have, though.

In actuality one could argue that the terminology is a highly local factor, hence one should just use what ever their respective supplier uses.
AND good or bad weed is factor too relative.
And as far as actual species/ strain names go, well I just call those things in my salad bell peppers, and leave Capsicum Annuum to the botanists. Simply put, everything develops colloquial forms, and so long as the intent is conveyed it should suffice, albeit leading to certain opinions and judgments from third parties.
