Its been very very long since my last visit to TOTSE, and I have come back to ask you guys some questions about tramadol.

Firstly, I would like to know the effects tramadol can give on the human body compared to other opiates, such as h or codeine. I heard tramadol is a peculiar opiate which acts, appart from on the dopamine receptors, on the serotonin receptors, enhancing the mood.

Secondly, as regards the effect on the dopamine receptors (ignoring the effect on the serotonin ones), how strong is tramadol? I heard some negative side effects from opiates are taken away (such as the itch and the vomiting) without a notable decrease of the desired effects.


Well, I dont know what more I can ask, if you know anything more i should know about this substance or any good combinations or ideas just post them here.

I find tramadol + weed to be rather nice, but that's just me.

I have only taken the 200mg SR tramadol, but I must say I do enjoy them (even if some say it's a shitty drug).

I find it much better than codeine, and much longer lasting, but I also get an itch from it, but that could just be me.

As far as the vomiting goes, it depends how much you take.

Careful with drinking on it, for me at least it causes me to almost pass out and I'm talking from 1 beer even.

I've taken 200mgs one time and gotten off fairly nicely, nothing special but..

Then i've taken 400mgs and gotten fuck all.

It can be nice, if it works the way it's supposed to. :)

I got that shit in mexico OTC, that and oxycodone. I'd say they potenaite each other quite well. Alone it really just helped me sleep but made me bite my toungue. They were 50mg pills so I was taking 8-9 at a time. I wouldnt say tramadol really compares to opaites. I mean if your taking tramadol to get a nod, thats like paying a hooker just to take YOUR clothes off.

Tramadol is hit or miss. I don't feel much from it, but I know people who get fucked up major off of it, and a grown 30 year old woman who'll suck your cock for a couple Trams. If anyone remebers him, PyroHydroSmok injured his leg at work one time, and got a Tramadoll script and he claimed to nod pretty hard off of it.

Tramadol is like vics or percs to an opiate virgin.But if you have tolerance youll only just about feel good.Ive taken massive amounts before tryin to catch a nod.I got one off of 1300 mg's though I will say that.I dont recommend this but I have a very high opiate tolerance.When I didnt have any at all,I first started with trams and they worked kind of like percs when I first started opes.They were great,fuck I miss those days.Laterrrrrrrr.

I find that Ultrams (Tramadol) aren't that great of a buzz. They leave a fairly bad feeling afterwards.

I've had the worst experience of my life on tramodol. I've also had nice experiences. Less is deffinatley more though. The time I took 500mg plus the other time I took 400mg I felt like a zombie, couldn't sleep at all that night, complete dysphoria, sweats, and I hurled bunch when I got out of bed in the morning.

Tramadol to me feels very strange, its def has opioid like effects (I even achieved a nod after doing a fairly good size dose, If I remember right it was 300mg, 10 of those 37.5mg/Whatever-APAP Ultracets. The effects seem like a pseudo-opioid at least IMHO, to me though while it def has some sort of opioid like feelings to it something seems to be missing, for example the warm blanket and nice fuzzy feelings that regular opiates/opioid(s) give are missing, I can't really fully describe it myself, thats the best I can do.

So while Tramadol isn't great by any means I wouldn't just give away or toss them out, if you have a opiate/opioid habit them let me suggest that you save them to either potentate better opiates/opioid(s), or save them for when your having withdraw.

All opiate/opioid addicts say that Codeine, Darvacet, and Tramadol is worthless until they're in withdraw, then while in that situation they don't seem all that bad, anything to relieve some of the symptoms of withdraw is good in my book...

Jeez I get on some alright dope (24mg of Dilaudid, and 120mg of Temazepam) and I end up typing a book, even on something as dumb and trivial as Tramadol, lmao, well OP hope this post helped even a little, peace....

EDIT; ALSO LET ME ADD THAT AFTER 200MG TRAMADOL *WILL* LOWER ONES SEIZURE THRESHOLD, SO IF SOMEONE WHERE TO ALREADY HAVE SEIZURE PROBLEMS THEN THEY NEED TO WATCH OUT TAKING DOSES OVER 200MG OF TRAMADOL!!!

I find it to be a very useful drug. Great for socializing, school, physical activity, etc.

The come up feels like the come up of mdma or a like you're on sertraline. This is the seratoninergic effect, so tramadol acts as a fast acting anti-depressant as well as an opioid. After an hour or so the opiate agonism kicks in. It feels close to hydrocodone or oxycodone, but even more speedy. This is due to it's norandenergic actions. I feel like I have an endless amount of energy, and I actually enjoy jogging or running it. It's not as euphoric as the hydro or oxy though. It's very hard to urinate on this drug, which is one of the things i hate about it. After a couple more hours the gabanergic effects kick in and you feel tired and zombi-like.

If you want to take this drug recreationally then I reccomend taking it with a benzodiazepine like clonazepam (preferably) or alprazolam. It reduces the anxiety brought on from the speedy effects, and heightens the seizure threshold. Cannabis is also a very good drug to combine with tramadol. Tram isn't very euphoric by itself but marijuana makes it euphoric alright.
