He violated probation about 10 times (No joke) by pissing dirty for weed every time; he only got locked up when he skipped a probation appointment

It depends what your on probation for really. His po was so worried about him catching another burglary case she let him slide with the weed.

well if you have a criminal record already ( before whatever you're on probation for ) you will go to jail. it will be a short sentence. maybe even a week, possibly a month, but i know here in canada you only serve 2 thirds of the entire sentence. so if you get a month you'd serve 20 days. i dont know if its the same wherever you live. but I had a short criminal record. 2 things on it, and i got a breach, and the original charge kept getting remanded so many times i ended up getting sentenced for the breach at the same time as the original charge, and the original charge was something pretty bad. b & e + theft over 5000 times 3, and all i got was probation and restitution and non association for that, but before i was put on probation i had to sign a thing saying i wouldnt drink until my court date, and i got caught having a beer in the summer, and THATS what they gave me a week in jail for. they really feel compelled to get the point across that breaches ARE in fact a big deal, and they are going to want to teach you not to do it again.

And dont even think about using fake shit or buying clean stuff cause shell probably make you do it right at the court house. but if you suck up and say you smoked a couple of times B4 then shell probably give you more comm. service.
