So, as this is all going to be hypothetical and whatnot, here goes.

Say one had a friend on the other side of the country and they agreed to a trade of products. What would be the best method to go about sending some buds through the mail/fed-ex/ups/whatever?

There is a mason jar with a quarter in it. A small, ovalish shaped one with the flat lid and the outer part that screws around it, creating an air-tight seal. Hands were washed, as to leave no THC residue on the outside, which was also washed. The jar's straight.

Just to make it legit, the jar's going to be put into a lb. of coffee, and maybe another strong smelling something. What would be the best carrier for this package? It would be straight though right? Like no smell would leak and cause any alarms to be raised or anything.

Just put it in a padded envelope and post it using USPS.

yeah, just wrap it up really well and stick it in a padded envelope and send it through the regular mail. they don't check domestic envelopes because you'd have to be a stupid fuck to mail drugs. not saying i haven't done similar things...

Get a video-game console and unscrew it and put the product inside. i used this method once when i went to the USA when i was 14, although it's a bit different with the mail. put some blank dvd's with video game names written on them in there so their attention would immediately go to pirated games. but they're not actually pirated games so you wont get in shit for that, and their mind will be off of checking the game console, in the rare instance that they would actually consider checking a game console. and if you don't have a console, you can get sega dreamcasts at most pawn shops for like 15 bucks.

Put in a toy or something... make sure you write a letter pretending it's to your nephew or something, make it something unexposed and right on the actual toy.

Bust it finely, put it in a bag, seal said bag, put it in another bag, sealed, then vaccuum seal the whole package, then wash it, then padded envelope... no toys, no coffee... noone mails those things!

put into sandwich baggie then ziplock bag then make that ackage as small as possible, stick it in a jar of peanut butter and put the jars in a box and ship.

Look just double vaccum seal it (meaning vaccum seal it once then take that and vaccum seal it again) then mail it. aslong as you vaccum seal it right before mailing it, then the buds smell wont permeate through the plastic meaning it wont smell so even if there is dogs sniffing mail at the post office, they shouldnt smell it. id triple vaccum seal it just incase.

I remember seeing this thing on youtube and its a cop who as somewhat defected and is showing a bunch of ways to smuggle drugs across the border and talks alot about the smell and dogs

When mailing drugs, just be ballsy enough to throw it in an envelope and send it out there... why the fuck would a post office worker care, if anything, your shit won't arrive and a certain mail man on this side of the world will have a nice weekend.
