I don't really believe in that emotional conectedness to the person who stole your virginity or w/e, but I would like to know if that plays a role.

She was my first "real" gf and she took my virginity. I failed hard at the relationship in many ways and I'm really glad I went through it because I know understand my mistakes and won't repeat them.

Trouble is, I think of her alot. She broke up w/ me because of my "drug addiction," and said that we were just dating. We didn't talk much because I wanted to come off as that I didn't need her but this backfired, truth was I did want her and she never called me ha. I called her once, we hung out once, after that I didn't initiate contact over the phone, neither did she. I talked to her a few times on AIM where she would call me out about my current situation (hooking up w/ other girls, continued use of drugs, etc).

This is LOL, I finally realized she didn't like me when she removed me from her friends on myspace (hers is private). I then decided wow I need to get over this chick so I took her name out of my cellphone and deleted her sn from my aim.

I can't get over her. I think about her alot but I don't know why. Aside from being in love, I hated that relationship. She was controlling and I was a weak, pussy wipped bitch. The "relationship" I'm in now is awsome in everyway imadginable. The girl is way better looking, skinnier, and a drug user and risk taker. She doesn't bitch at me at every moment and I run the relationship. I am dominant, she is wipped. This is what I always wanted and was my problems w/ the ex.

I still secretely hope that she will call me sometime or im me or something. I want to get over her but do not know how. This is where I need your help and advice.

I would imagine that you will eventually think more about her as your first girlfriend than as the girl that took your virginity.

Yes, virginity has something to do with it. You'll never be able to completely get over her, she always has a part of you.

my advice? Man up. Go fuck someone else. Go party. Do whatever you feel like doing. You are (or should be) your own person. Do as you please. Whatever anyone says, even if she "has a part of you," your virginity is not as significant as many people make it out to be. If you end up staying with someone you truly care about, who cares who your first time was with?
