Lately (over the last 3 months or so) I've been having at least a beer every day for breakfast.. Sometimes I'll even drink a six pack (Busch Light mostly) on the way to work. I have been averaging a 12-18 beers on weekdays and up to 24-30 on weekends. One of my co-workers/friend tried talking to me about it but I really don't think it's a problem because I have a job and go to work and I just like to party and have fun.

What do you guys think?

do what I do. Take a break from alcohol by doing lot of pills, whether it be benzos, opiates, E, or you could always smoke alot more weed. give your body a break from drinking for a week or two.

Routine, routine... break the routine and you shall see if addiction is apparent.. one way or the other habitual use of any substance is never recommended..

that's like me man.. not so much the past month or so. but i stopped without any problems so you might be able to as well.

Consider quitting COMPLETELY, if only for a couple of days, to gauge how far into addiction you are. Keep that up for a couple more months and you´re risking pretty bad withdrawal.

It's only a problem if you consider it to be. For example, if it's getting in the way of work, education or relationships or something else important to you.

Are you kidding? That's insanely excessive. Two beers per day, every day is pushing it.

You might be self-mediating for anxiety though, do you notice you are more functional with it then without? Might want to at least switch to benzos. Alcohol is really bad for you, and benzos can be taken daily with no ill effects other then dependence which you already have. If you can take something not addictive like an SSRI or risperdal, that would be better.

If I don't have a drink by an hour after getting up then I start to shake really bad, start to sweat and hearts start pounding, get really anxious etc....

I never really thought I had a problem until I found myself sneaking into the bathroom to take a few shots during my school day.

Today for example I had a 40oz of Budweiser for breakfeast, then I went out to lunch with a friend and had 3-4 drinks.. And right now I'm drinking again (7 beers deep or so).. So only like 15-17 drinks or so so far, and it will definitly be more before the nights over. I feel fine though. It's like my medicine.. And as far as the physical effects-- I'm really skinny because I have fast metabolism so it's not like i'm rocking a beer gut or something.

He's drinking every single day. In the morning. On the way to work. On weekends. Every single day.

Not necessarily a problem if it's not causing any obstruction to your life, but there's a good chance it will fuck around with you if you're drinking every day, especially if it's as soon as you wake up.

Edit: From your last post inspiron, I'd say you got yourself a drink problem.

on the way to school (the shit sucks, but it's a non-smeller on the breath and I don't need my stomach getting murdered by vodka in the morning) Basically I was usually trashed. Towards the beginning of this trend I would stumble into school dropping shit, but around November I got to be real good at hiding it.



I'd get out early last semester, like at 1:15 almost every day, so i'd be back to the store.

However, on days I didn't get out early I always had a "lunch drink" which was usually more Mad Dog poured into a coke bottle (it was dark purple, so no one really said anything but my friends.. and basically every other student.)

Usually my order after I got outta school was a 40 oz of Olde English (malt liquor son..) and a black and mild.

If you don't know that shit gets you pretty drunk, it's like 8% alcohol.

It was worse on the days I'd have to get back for detention at 3:45, i'd probably rock a 24 oz Bud Ice too to get nice and numb when I walked back in.

This went on from August to November, occasionally I'd sub in Everclear and just sit in class with a stomach ache.

Not to mention all the times on weekdays I'd just get bored, say bye to mom buy a 6 pack and drive around.

And Much more on the weekends.

It's always been something for me, I can't just use moderation with anything, it's gone from Weed to Xanax to Weed to Alcohol to Weed right now.

That sounds like massively excessive drinking, and I think you have alcohol issues tbh. Maybe you're not "an alcoholic" but you're drinking too much, man. Doesn't matter whether it's interfering with your life (and there's NO FUCKING WAY it's not, at those amounts), it's still an addiction, and a fairly damaging one at that.
