you know when you smoke salvia and you basically blackout and forget about existence, completely detached from reality, has that ever happened to you on any other substance?

I was lost in the peak and my freind gave me some xanax cause the visuals were literally burning my eyes and was really pissin me off. went from laying on the floor looking at my table and astonished as how it just melted off into space forever like a wooden river.

snapped back when at the fridge a couple hours later.

You can boil it, just eat it right off the plant (prob some growing in your neighborhood when weater gets nice) and your in for the time of your fucking life man-- Better than shrooms, better than acid.

I have experienced this on salvia, DMT, and high doses of mushrooms (~8g) on MAOI's. I really wish I could get my hands on some ketamine though.

I have smoked salvia properly. It really isn't that complicated. Use a torch lighter and hold in your hits for 30+ seconds. If you keep this in mind, it's hard to not smoke it properly.

It's simply about which experience I prefer. I do not enjoy the body load of salvia, it makes me feel kind of sick/clammy, the gravity effects piss me off, and on top of that, I find the sense of vertigo/discombobulation I get from salvia to be unenjoyable, compared to the discombobulation ketamine causes. Ketamine, as far as dissociative psychedelics go, is more effective at propelling my consciousness where I want it to be, while having fewer drawbacks. It also lasts longer and mixes well with lots of other drugs (LSD, for instance.)

Salvia is interesting and all, but I very rarely get the desire to do it. Ketamine, however, is good almost anytime. I also find the nuances of the perceptual/visual effects of ketamine appeal more to my philosophy/world view than salvia does, although the dimensional warping effects salvia causes, and the places your consciousness/perception can go are pretty novel and all...

Ketamine is also a very novel experience, assuming your dose is sufficient to get psychedelic effects. Ketamine is plenty immersive for me, and is capable of maintaining a steady appeal, for me... which I suppose can be either good or bad, depending on how worried I am about addiction potential.

It's a matter of preference. I'd rather do ketamine any day than salvia. I enjoy the effects of ketamine more. Both are powerful, strange drugs, but ketamine holds more appeal in my eyes, by a long shot.
