I like metal, but I can't stand it when I'm on E.

Depends on the variety of metal, I would thing. Anything with a heavy, steady beat makes me really happy on E, I could care less about the genre.

I imagine moshing would be fucking sweet on E, too. Like raving but not for pussies. Just remember to keep yourself hydrated.

MSI isn't metal, but I saw them whilst on ecstasy, and I stood at the back of the room waiting for it to end :(

This might sound lame but for me the best music to listen to on MDMA is 50 cent. there's something about the beats.

Basically, you need something with a lot of bass in my humble opinion. Dance music just serves that purpose. Try some prodigy or, if you're inclined, some drum and bass: stick on Andy C's Nightlife 2 or 3.

I remember a while back I went to Sounds of the Underground with some buddies who happened to have a few beans on them at the time. We decided to pop them because, what the hell, everything's fun on E.

Wrong.

It's not like we had a bad time, it's just that we didn't have a great time, and you should always have a great time on MDMA. All these smelly, angry metalheads, most of whom were probably on meth, just did nothing for the positive vibes. The music was pretty awesome, but the atmosphere almost totally ruined the experience.

I would caution against using E in a place or situation that is inherently not conducive to the loved up feelings of a roll.

E is fucking gay the only place it belongs is at a faggot rave or a gay bar.

Not exactally heavy metal, but I've been to an AC/DC cover band on ecstasy. I was able to rock out and mosh the entire show (usually impossible due to exhaustion).

The extra energy and simply being close to people can be great.
It all depends on the person, I've had friends that hate rock/heavy metal type music while on E. I say go for it, just bring some friends and if you feel uncomfortable stay away from the music until it's over.

Iv been to a few rock gigs and festivals on E and its pretty good although nowhere near as good as enjoying it with something a little more electronic. I loled at all the little pendulum fags running around outside the gig halfway through an hour long set in the middle of the day trying to score some beans so they could "rave out!"

Exactly this, make sure there is a good environment. Last Friday night I took some MDMA caps then went to a German pub. Probably the worst place to go while coming up, seriously I just said 'Man this place is full of leaderhousen' Then walked out through the fire escape, probably the worst night to take E... Wrecked my night, although I did talk to some hippy guy's that were tripping on shrooms... Quite a strange conversation

i think it really depends on you, the band, and the atmosphere....

ive taken xtc with a couple kids when a friend had a party, some of the kids were in some good local metal bands...

basically we got a private show and it was awesome, everybody else thought so too

this is probably because they performed for the sake of music, not getting out anger or going crazy

but if you are going to some dark metal concert with a real negative vibe going, i wouldnt reccomend it

its pretty cool, but if you get hit by somebody you'll probably get pissed off and try to fight them

Almost everyone I know that takes e listen to some type of electronic music whilst on it. This bothers me.

I love metal, and so do a lot of my friends, and I cannot stand techno, I hates it. Even when on e, I don't listen to it. Drugs don't make me like a certain type of music, I'll just enjoy the music that I like more.

I once saw dimmu borgir in philly bombed out on e, and it was one of the more awesome concerts I've been to. I didn't get any bad vibes, I was in the pit, hammering through the crowd to get up front, and at one point, I'm standing there with the metal horns up, and hairwhipping, and I look over, and next to me is this thugged out black dude with dreads doing the same thing. I don't think I would have appreciated that as much as if I wasn't on e. I didn't actually think black people liked black metal.

But, I always get good vibes at metal concerts. Everyone who's there loves metal as I do. Everyone is there to see whatever awesome metal band is playing.

You know... I'd love to go to a heavy metal concert on mdma. Some OLD Metallica (don't even make a reference to the new shit, it just pisses me off) is pretty awesome on mdma. Just because its not all stereotypically "loved up" doesn't mean it can't be good. Though, I actually like heavy metal. If you don't know what you like while sober then I recommend developing a taste in music.
