alright, I've known this kid, let's say Dan, since we were in jr high and all through high school. Both kinda geeky, so became real tight. Video games and alcohol freshman year until we found our social groove, but still pretty pathetic with girls. We both went to seperate colleges last fall and talk online still, so I went to visit him up at his school a couple days ago.

He introduced me to his group of friends and I was suprised because these guys are all shady as fuck. Heavy into hard drugs like coke and pills, one guy uses heroin and even shot up when i was in the room. Just skeevy fuckin people, and not the smart type of drug users like people in this forum. And they've changed him. He's deep into the drug scene, he does alot of coke and drinks all the time and his personality is noticeable more cold and caustic.

But here's the real problem that sickened me.

We were chillin in his friends room when this kid Matt came in and threw a plastic bag of a bunch of different pills on the desk. These fucks were happy as hell and I saw Dan take a bunch from the bag.

Later on the way to the party when we were all already pretty drunk his friends were makin jokes about "dropping these roofies in your drink so you get gang raped" etc. and immediately this threw a red light in my head. I figure I'm just jumping to conclusions though as I can't believe they'd say that shit freely.

But we get to the party and I can escape these skeevy fucks so I get into a beer pong tournament. I was pretty drunk when I went to see where Dan was so we could smoke a blunt, and I saw him and a couple of his grimy friend talkin to this girl, already drunk on the couch. When I was approaching I heard him ask her "you think my sprite's flat? it has some jack in it" and she took a couple gulps. He introduced her as Tracy, we bullshitted for a few minutes. I asked him if he wanted to smoke and he said to find him later.

So an hour later the party is hot and loud, full of energy and crowded with people. All the sudden the music cuts and this big guy starts yelling about this girl Tracy being found behind a dumpster out back. This immediately riles people up and as he leads a bunch out the door I hear him say "and her fuckin panties are ripped!"

I feel sick and nervous as shit. Right away Dan finds me and he says we should go. I don't want to possibly think that he had anything to do with it, so I force myself to act as if everything is normal. We smoke the blunt on the way home and we actually do act pretty normal. We get to his dorm room, played some MAdden, I fall asleep, then head out early next morning.

I haven't talked to him since. I don't want to. I'm just so revolted by him. But I don't know if I should completely throw our friendship away, especially when it seems like he just got caught up with the wrong crowd. I mean, is he really a bad person? He was such a good kid only 6 months ago! What would you do if you were me?
