Friend in hospital
My friend was admitted to the hospital 4 days ago cuz of a bike accident. He dislocated his knee, fractured his neck and hit his head pretty hard....He already had surgery on his neck and his knee was popped back into place as soon as he got there, now he's just been chillen there resting up, high off morphine...He's been asking us to make him a brownie or cookie or any other cannabis edibles and bring it to him today when we visit him...Do you think this is safe? I'm kinda of hesitant on giving him some, but i really don't see any danger either...What do ya'll think?

Weed brownie would be really nice of you to bring.
Make sure he can talk to you before you do it, or at lease can hear ya.

Re: Friend in hospital
You're a good friend.
I honestly don't see how it could hurt. His eyes wouldn't give anything away either, because of the morphine.

Re: Friend in hospital
As soon as he gets out, fuck yourself up and have him return the favor...
Jk, but if he is a good friend, go for it! I'm sure he'll smoke you out later anyway.
Peace!

I was in the hospital on hydromorphone that I could inject every 6 minutes and I still wished I could get high. Opiates with no weed, though extremely fun, are not quite what they could be without weed IMHO.

Re: Friend in hospital
It ended up nicely...Made 3 cupcake-size brownies that about had about an 1/8 of some good ass dank in there (had around a .5 on a leary biscuit myself and had a pretty good body high goin), drove down to the hospital and let him pig out...He called the nurse for some milk to wash down the brownies with, and as soon as she came in she said, "Damn, it smells like pot in here", we all looked at eachother and started laughing, then i replied, "shit... i guess i didn't do my laundry then".. she shook her head then walked out...then we spent the next few hours watchin The Simpsons and Family Guy...GoodTimes...Thanks for the replies everyone...P.S. If you are a bike messenger, ride carefully, you might just break your neck...

Re: Friend in hospital
As long as your friend can handle himself while he's stoned he shouldn't have any problems whatsoever. On second though..he is on morphine so if he started to act strange he could pawn the cause off on that. However, that may lead to them lowering his dosing..which isn't good at all.
Also, I have a little story that goes along with this topic.
I ended up in the hospital a while back due to my Diabetes. My best bud and his wife were bringing up the 360 so we could hook it up to the tv and play some games to pass the time. I told them to bring our pot for some reason and began thinking of how we could get stoned to help the night go by a bit faster. When they arrived we went ahead and loaded a bowl. I told the nurse watching me that I was going to roll my IV down to the smoking area so I could have a cig. and we went to the first floor. We went out the front door and walked out to a gazebo that was around 100 yards away from the door in the middle of this little pond. It was dark and there were no lights in the area so we just blazed up, me standing out there in my hospital gown with the wind blowing hard as hell.
We ended up getting really stoned and going back up to the room, playing video games until four in the morning. It was a good night.

I'd demand some of the morphine if he expected me to give him anything.

you sure it was dilaudid? Ive never heard of anyone being put on a push button HM pump, especally at 6 minute intravals, if your sure do you happen to know what the dose was? Has to be a small ass dose to be setup that way... Sure it wasn't ole plain-Jane Morphine?
