Soul mates, do you think they exist?
Seriously, I've been pondering this for a fair bit now and I've come to the conclusion that it really doesn't matter, if the relationship is truely great enough to warrant that question. Still I'm curious of other's opinions on the matter. Also what in your mind would justify that title to someone, if anything?
I'm asking this for the simple fact I've probably found her. Actually, there's no "probably" about it. We get along insanely well, we have quite a few key details in common, we are very loving and cuddlely, we have enough not in common to openly debate subjects, we accept each other's opinions when we argue, we like to play argue but know when to stop, the sex is absolutely amazing, and I could keep continuing this list until I make you all sick of my lovesick ramblings.

Simply, yes, I do. But I still think it's only chemistry. I don't think it's some magical, epic fate that two people are together, I just think their respective chemistries match up insanely well. I'm yet to find one...
But for your case, how long have you known her? I don't want to be cynical and pessimistic, but lots of relationships start off awesome, then go downhill once the sex gets boring or one person becomes dominant. But I truly hope that isn't the case for you. Good luck and congrats.

HELL NO!!!
There are 3 billion members of the opposite sex out there. Are you telling me only 1 is right for you?

I know it's only the biological chemistry and the mental likeness, but it's about the only thing that really describes it. We've actually arleady had our rough bit and now we're starting over. I mean I've recently spent 24 hours talking to her over a 72 hour period. We know it's not just the sex, but it helps. Oddly enough, we've known of each other all through highschool and had a few encounters, but nothing special. We started dating in early last October, hit a rough patch, and we stopped talking to each other for a little bit. Then out of sheer loneliness and because I had run out of people to call, I called her up and I found out she missed me just as much as I missed her. It's an interesting situation right now.

I wouldn't have believed it if I wasn't in it. I used to think like that, but this is quite amazing.

It is kinda gay that we love and hate to be around people we care about. When we start to get too much of someone we push away, and when we get too little or none at all we usually long for that. I wonder if someone can tell me what would be a good medium. To see each other as much as we want but not too much to the point where we are starting to get annoyed by ones presence.

Eh, it depends on the circumstances, IMO. We actually crave to be with each other non-stop for the most part. I mean we've spent days on end together getting away from everyone else.

Re: Soul mates, do you think they exist?
Yes I do believe in it, and I found her as well as married her. What we are really discussing is a "spiritual" connection of sorts.....throwing out any religious connotation behind those words. The reason I KNOW we are connected moreseo than just physically, emotionally and legally........is because we are oftentimes way too deep inside the other's minds and hearts. Silly example to make my point......
Imagine you have been with your girl for a year or more. One day you are home from work and waiting for her to come home. The thought of dinner hits you, and for whatever reason you think....."mmmmm, lets do Mexican". Neither one of you have had that for over 6 months, and you yourself haven't even thought about Mexican food for perhaps several weeks. She walks in the door and 2 minutes into the conversation she says....."What do you want to do about dinner, I was thinking Mexican". WTF?????? How the hell does anyone explain that? I could understand if we were both watching TV at the same time, and some commercial came on and it rubbed our brains the same way at the exact moment.
Shit like that happens all the fuckin time to me and my wife. And it ain't just dinner ideas......it could be calling an old loved one we haven't talked to in ages, an idea for the evening, a thought of sadness or elation, some horny thought we both have in bed. I have zero logical and rational explanation at "why" our minds/hearts are so intertwined with such frequency....so I just have to fall back on that mysterious "soul mate" answer.
