Vode Geass has got to be one of my favorite shows. It won the best 2007 anime at the Japanese anime convention. The art is done by the CLAMP group which also writes the Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, another favorite.

it is the pizza part that is confusing me.

Ok someone tell me what episode it starts to get good because I saw the first one and that whole "hey kill yourself" "lol ok!" "yay I win" crap seems retarded to me. As do the themes of Japanese nationalism and the whole zomg evil empire stuff. And the generic giant robots. I don't know, everything about it pissed me off and so I didn't watch anymore.
