So SWIM works at a dollar store, everything is a dollar. SWIM thought of this idea because he thought by just taking money out of the register he would be caught obviously because his cash drawer wouldnt balance. So SWIM thought of an idea, he would ring people up, lets say the customer had 10 items, SWIM would ring 6 items up on the register but charge the customer the reg 10$+tax and pocket the $4..If he does this 10 times a night that is 40$ tax free cash..that is is $10 more of what SWIM makes on his regular pay.

You see SWIM works a shitty job thats pays min wage and only gets 14 hours a week lol...As far as flaws in this idea..I was thinkin if the customer looked at the receipt they would say something, or if the customer payed with a debit card obviously SWIM wouldnt get crap.

swim tested this idea on select customers and it went ok for a few bucks here or there enough to buy a pack of cigs..SWIM can also turn around the subtotal that the customers can see towards him so they cant see..SWIM works with lazy people who don't give a shit so he has no coworkers to worry about, also no camera.

ANY TIPS/FLAWS FOR SWIM?

It's possible/likely they camera the registers. Also, people are going to notice on their receipt that it doesn't match what they pay. Generally Dollar store shoppers keep an eye on that kind of shit. If you have regulars that ask to never have a receipt and there are no cameras, have fun.

My dad sits in the car for like 20 minutes and examines the receipt looking for mistakes. If you run into something like this you'll probably just have to give him the money back or whatever.

Look for people who won't care/notice, like little kids or people who look busy or people buying lots of stuff.

I work at KFC and I do this all the time. We dont give out receipts on the drive thru so I just charge less on the register and tell them the real amount. I have never gotten caught.

i had a friend that use to work at a gas station and he'd do the same thing. he wouldn't ring up all the items and just pocket the excess. worked there for over a year and never got caught. he'd also give us free shit all the time...

get a job at a better place, me and a friend from work can simply "void" orders, and take the money from the till(also "stole" $170 cash over 2 days and they didnt really care)
