A word of advice: Boot camp is a game. Just play the game, be squared away, and you will have no problems.

Since you are going infantry, a word of advice there is paying attention to detail, and to listen to those with more field experience.

Apparently, from what my friends tell me every now and again when they let the come back from Iraq, when you are not searching random houses you'll be getting hours and hours of computer game time and you'll get to blow up random objects with really expensive equipment.

If I'd tell you anything from what I've been told, I'd say have fun and keep your fingers tight to yourself or your gun when doing random house searches. I guess its common for people to injure their fingers when cutting around corners in hallways. I guess its just rushing into the house and trying to cover each area as quickly as possible that makes a person careless about small things like leaving a finger out and bending it backwards when turning corners in narrow hallways and doorways.
