| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Playing with my serotonin levels??
This is kind of interesting me as of late, and the idea of legal, mostly natural ways to increase my serotonin levels on a daily basis is something that I wouldn't really mind trying.
The product that most interests me is Sam-E...

...mainly after reading a WebMD article where the doctor suggests this ahead of 5-HTP.
Has anyone ever tried using these products with any (or no) success? I'd like to see if anyone has had a positive experience from these before purchasing/lifting (curse you BI and your influence on younger me!).

There is one sure fire option. Solo brain surgery. All you need is a mirror and a scalpel, a hammer and a chisel.

Said doctor appears to be attempting to turn you into a jacked-up, hallucinating insomniac.
Not that I'm saying that this is a bad thing, it's just a bit different from a blissed-out, tranquil, lovestruck somniac.

Sam-e + tryptophan = ???????
hell that amino acid is cool, it even sounds cool. :p
Joe Pedo, how safe do you think this is for your brain?
what is the likely chance of methylating some random shit into something that could be neurotoxic?
