Help with a bet
Alright, I need a little help.
My friend and I are having a "death row diet" contest. It's to see who can live on solely bread and water for the longest. Anyways, I'm looking for some creative ways to stay healthy.
One thing is that the bread can't have any chunks or anything in it, so no raisin or nut bread.
So, what are the healthiest breads you know of? So far I've got Wheat, Whole Grain, and Rye. I'm likely making a trip to the store this weekend, so I need to load up for the next week.
Please help.

Probably some kind of whole grain, really dark thick bread. This whole thing doesnt sound to healthy to begin with though...

Re: Help with a bet
Buy an unsliced loaf of something like ciabatta and just tear bits off and eat it as you get hungry.

Re: Help with a bet
id personally look at the protein content. other things are great too, but you will feel the lack of protein far before malnutrition kicks in. so lots of nuts and grains is the way to go.

Whole grain bread, obviously.
Sounds like a dumb bet, though.

Re: Help with a bet
ha, the way you worded the bet it sounds like the loser is the one who dies first.
i wish people i knew made bets like this. nobody has the attention span for this kind of shit anymore.
i'd go for whole grain wheat. i like roman meal brand.
see what's in pumpernickel too.
can you eat a vitamin each day? i guess thats cheating.

Re: Help with a bet
No Vitamins.
So far I've been eating wheat, whole grain, rye, and sourdough to mix it up.
I think I'm going to get some cornbread today. See what other types of bread are out there just to vary the taste.
