So i just started drinking these little wonders and at the price they are ($3.50) a jug are more then an affordable way to get violent and abusive.

I was wondering why most pubs wont serve them?

Answered your own question, they get people very drunk very quickly. I have been refused it in a number of places, however one of my old favourites used to do it a pound a pint between 7 and 9 at weekends.

I live in a student town so snakebites are pretty common, I don't really like them though, the taste of cranberry juice mixed with shitty Carling and Strongbow is a bit too much fo me.

Snakebite (or more properly Snakebite and Black) is a staple of fresher students.

Where I came from it was called Diesel though, and hardly anyone knew what I meant.

They put blackcurrant cordial in it where I live though, not cranberry juice...
