I just got 10 Ultram ER (200 mg.) tablets, and i must say, they really arent too bad, i'm actually quite pleased after crushing up one pill and eating it.

As we've all heard that they are pretty weak, 45 minutes later i decided to cut another one in half and rail about 25 mg's and eat the rest to get me going. (about 300 mg. total)

I'm feeling pretty good now after about 1 1/2 hours.

The effects seem to compare somewhat to vicodin, but with less of an artificial euphoria if you know what i mean (less nodding off out of nowhere/wanting to just chill) but i am getting some of the forgetfulness of vicodin and no bad side effects!

Now i want to just watch a movie, much like i always do when taking vicodin, but slightly more awake. Which is almost the effect i was looking for. I was hoping for a little more drowsiness, but whatever, i'll work with waht i got.

All in all, i would say, if you have some, and you're bored, like i said, they are better than nothing.

I plan on taking another one, when my mom gets home so i have the patience to sit through her lame movies. That satisfies me well.

I'm rather not take some even if it were free. If I was going to take some I wouldn't be taking some mixed with Tylenol that's for damn sure. That shit is terrible... And if you have any sort of opiate/Opioid tolerance you need so much you're risking some serious seizures, for what I'd refer to as a minor buzz at best. I hear people claim it works for light to moderate (at BEST) pain relief... However, in me, it actually made my chest hurt WORSE. And how could you ever say that it's less artificial then Vicodin? It's TOTALY synthetic were as Vicodin is a semi-synthetic. No no... None of this adds up at all... Horses can't talk... HORSES CAN'T TALK!!!

Bad thing with Ultram/Tramadol isn't that it doesn't have any effects...

Hell, it has SOME effects... not very useful mind you, but also, you get side effects such as itch, constipation, ...

But that's not the main problem with trams... the real problem is that, for such a lousy drug, it has a HUGE addiction potential... it's soo easy to get hooked... heard way too many stories about that.

So in conclusion kids, don't listen to the OP, Trams are bad for you!

tramadol was okay the first 2 times i took it, then it started fucking sucking i mean gives u wierd chills and i hate the feeling. The only thing id use those bastards again for is to keep from WDing but i have suboxones for that so fuck ultram/tramadol.

I like tramadols... a few of those make the day run smoother... and help me be relaxed.. They're my favorite, nothing too overwhelming, so I don't feel self concious about being fucked up.

I like Ultrams, and I've taken them a few times, but never by themselves. I'm assuming they are working along side the Diluadids, but I can't be sure. I've never got any of the chills or constipation you talk about. (Other poster.)

Absolutely better than nothing.They work great for general opiate w/ds.No high,no buzz,just kills the w/d symptoms for me.When I had no opiate tolerance though it acted very similar to small doses of vicodin.I can account for that.This should be great for people who can actually get theyre noses to itch from codeine or even low doses of hydro or oxy here and there.If you do have tolerance and are looking for a high from this,dead end.I've taken massive amounts but I hear alot of reports about seizures.Alot of those stories include mixing it with another drug,so that might explain all the seizures.

I have a scrip for it (chronic athritis pain) and it isn't as effective as percs--but it IS super-constipating.

Anyone who takes more than a few hundred mills should drink a lot of water and once it kicks in, eat a bunch of high-fiber food--chili is good.
