So far, this has been the longest w/d it seems. I'm still sneezing twice in a row which is MY body's way of telling me it ain't over. I ain't left the house in over a week for fear of me going up to the CMD to pick up a bag or 2. I've had virtually NO appetite and LOST 15 lbs. I get nightmares of me using. Diarrhea and abdominal cramps but Immodium AD tends to help with that. Still have some muscle spasms and anxiety.

These w/ds actually started 5 days AFTER my last dose of the subs. The only thing that's helped me is TIME! I've even fought the urge to use methadone for the wds. Vitamins are a fucking godsend!! They will help restore your brain as well as your body. Weed helps with the vomiting and loss of appetite. Unfortunately for me, heroin is VERY much easier for me to get than weed so I just buy Ensure Plus shakes and choke them down 3 times a day to get adequate nutrition when I can. Baclofen and Clonidine help w/ muscle spasms and a host of wd symptoms. Trazodone helps w/ sleep, but at a price. It causes VERY lucid dreams and they can be drug dreams like in my case, which can be very........... unsettling.

Benzos can help, but be careful not to get hooked on them! I have some Klonopins coming in on Thursday and can't fucking wait for them! Sex can help too(IF you're up for it).

As for Suboxone, it did get rid of my heroin cravings I will give it that. But I feel Methadone is much better but that is just my opinion. Problem is the stigma of going to a Methadone clinic each & every day. That's the only downside to Methadone.

Time & sobriety are the BEST medicines for recovery!

I been on opiates for years now on and off, and I usually try to go from opiates to benzos when I *know* I won't be able to get any worthwhile RX opis, or shit worse any at all...

Works for me usually helping me get over that I wanna crawl out of my skin feeling....

Just opioids. Benzos are ok IMO, just not all the time.
