Hello. I'm not much of a drug person but I do smoke weed all day every day. After being baked for 3 weeks straight I recently decided to take a break for a couple days. I can't eat for the life of me anymore. I try but I can't. Is there an explanation for this? Similar experiences?

Maybe that's why stoners are so thin.

Maybe you're just so used to having the munchies and being able to eat a mountain of food that when you're sober it feels like you can't eat.

Thats all that I can come up with.Most likely it will pass with time.

Completely natural, it's hard for me to eat when I'm not stoned either but I've been smoking a lot longer...

I'm actually a lot more responsible with my eating habits now. I for some reason can't eat candy or fast food anymore but fruit or cereal... that's delicious.

This is actually pretty common for people who smoke pot every single day. In fact I've dealt with it too. I was alot better off than my brother however, he began throwing up in the mornings when he stopped smoking, simply because it was doing something to his stomach because he stopped eating even close to as much. He had been smoking for around 20 years when this started happening though..

Just remember to "make" yourself get something down three times a day, just so you get your body into a schedule of eating again and get it used to not relying on the munchies to let it know when it needs to eat something.

Sadly I have the same problem. I smoke up usually 2 or 3 times a day and on days when I don't feel like getting high I also don't feel like eating at all and usually end up only eating a tiny bit before bed and that's it. I guess I'm just completely used to the munchies being my signal to eat. I also throw up in the mornings sometimes like before the opiate said (I've been smoking more than once a day for years now). When I wake up I know I'm hungry but I can't stomach down any food until I smoke and sometimes the uneasiness in my stomach causes me to throw up. Weed eliminates nausea so I'm nauseous without it. I would just quit for a little while and get back into good eating habits. Usually only eating when you have munchies involves a lot of microwaveable junk food but you could be different. Regular decent meals and less pot will get you back in sync.

Just start focusing on being able to eat breakfast, if you can eat a breakfast EVERY DAY you wont struggle with this as much. Stop smoking in the mornings as well if you do, thats just not good for anybody wait until night to blaze up.

Morning highs are the best, imo. I feel higher when I smoke in the morning than any other time.

I find that smoking in the morning leaves me a much more pleasant person all day, more motivated and talkative and so forth.

My morning ritual for the longest time was to wake up, pack a bowl or bong snap, take a hit, then shower, get out, put on "Beautiful Day" by U2 loud enough to piss off my neighbors if I woke up early enough, and go on my back porch and finish the bowl or take another snap.

Bam, instant positive mood for the rest of the day, regardless of if I have any more pot.

So good all day. I can't eat breakfast in the morning at all unless I'm high. my stomach just feels.. shitty and gross. like anything i would eat would throw me into nausea, it feels like.

but i've experienced being unable to eat, i've smoked for like a year, but i only started the daily chiefing in november. since then my gpa has gone up 3 points and i've made some new friends. i've also lost 10 pounds :O! yeah, food just.. well unless you're really hungry, it's just no where near as good. you take a bite and it's like.. okay. i feel ya. who cares though, you were probably eating too much every day, i sure was.

in my experience, the past few months I've been, waking up, no breakfast, light or no lunch, a regular dinner, then a sandwich or something at night when I am blazed as fuck.

i have that, too. when i would smoke a lot more than i do now, i was eating 3-4 meals a day. now i don't have the money for it, and i have school work to do, and now normally eat 1-2 meals a day.

so yea, it's normal. i think after stopping smoking for a while, getting on a more regular sleep schedule, and being more active during the day will make you want to eat more regularly.

If I have the choice, I always eat before I smoke. If I smoke then eat, I get retarded and lethargic. If I eat then smoke, I feel much better, and I don't have to start the cycle of smoking to eat, then eating and being brought down, then smoking another bowl, then eating some more.

Common problem among habitual smokers. Give it time and GRADUALLY stop weed if you plan on stopping. No more wake & bakes :D

I do that too, I hate being hungry after I hit up, it ruins the high.

It's all psychological, you are just used to endless hunger and now that its gone, you feel like you want nothing to do with food, just force the food down and it'll fix itself eventually. If all fails, just start smoking again. :)

I am very high. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with onions and mayo and cheese. It was delicious.

Hell, I can't really blame you. Whenever I'm baked, food is just SO fucking good than when I'm sober. If I got baked every day, it'd be hard for me to go back to eating food that's not enhanced by the marijuana too...

The only thing you can hope for is that it goes away with time. Either that, or just eat your favorite food all the time, and you might be able to eat.
