Why the fuck would anyone snort percocets? Even without taking bioavaliablilty into account, there would be so much powder in your nose it would be very hard for all the oxycodone to be absorbed. Hell, even with my low tolerance I would need 3-5 pills.

Don't snort Percocet, Vicodin, etc. They have way too much APAP to make it worthwhile. First of all, there is only so much membrane area in your nose to absorb stuff, and with let's say... 4 pills, that's 20 mg of Oxycodone, and 1.3 grams of Tylenol... Not to mention the fillers, binder materials, etc... So the chances of getting the Oxy to the membrane, over the other stuff… not great. Not to mention the Tylenol and shit tastes like shit when it drips down into your mouth, and burns when snorted, not to mention probably does a lot of damage to the inside of your nose. This could lead to anything from decreased sense of smell, to a hole in the mid section of your nose (It happens from coke, it could happen from this too, who knows...), etc. Not to mention the bioavailability of Oxycodone orally is 60 - 87% while intranasal bioavailability is only a mere 45- 50%, so even if all that other stuff doesn't matter, you're still getting less out of the Oxy (If you got all the Oxy to hit the membranes). But, let's face it... You'll get the 60 - 87%, because most of it will end up dripping down your throat and you'll swallow it. So you're subjecting yourself to burning clogged nose, possible nose and scent damage, lower bioavailability to that Oxy that DOES get to the membranes, etc etc for what is essentially going to be oral consumption anyway.
So honestly... what's the point? It's fucking stupid, ignorant, senseless, and a ridiculously over-spread rumor. Idiots get told by douche bags that it's the way to do it, and because they don't do any research them self, they do it, and they get high eventually (about a half an hour, once it reaches chemical volatility in their belly) and so they tell all their dumb friends to do it that way. Really, I literally want you to tell everyone you know that snorting pretty much ANY pill containing APAP or Ibuprofen is ignorant is n00bish. I'm getting REALLY damn sick of having to constantly repeat this information...
