I'm flying back to my hometown today for a couple weeks, and I was thinking of maybe bringing something back with me, as my connections out here are rather limited in comparison. I don't plan on taking huge amounts or anything, and probably only something rare that I have a hard time finding out here.

I was thinking of maybe a few grams of ketamine.

Now, I won't be going through customs, so that should make things easier.

Should I put it in my checked baggage? And what are the chances of it being found?

I don't know... maybe I sound extremely paranoid, but I just really want to avoid getting busted with anything.

if you are going to take drugs on the plane all I can say is that know what you're risking and if you still want t do it. flod the bag or its like into a small matchbook sized package and tape that behind your balls. I have flown to and from Denver in this fashion,

If you wear briefs, you'll notice that where the fly is, there is this deep kinda pocket type thingy that is perfect for holding shit in.

So I would wrap it up tight, stuff it in that pocket and then use a piece of duct tape to seal off the fly [it would never do to have 1/2 Oz of heroin fall out of your pants in the security line.

Once I was past the check point I would go in the restroom and remove it and put it in my pocket.

Now mind you, this was all before 9-11. I never flew to LA after 9-11 because I didn't want to risk it with all the new security they now have.

When theres dogs in the airport, are they sniffing for drugs or bombs?

Last time I was at an airport I asked one of the 'dog handlers' what the dog is sniffing for.He just said "stuff thats not supposed to be here".

Put it inside a snake, wrap said snake around your upper thigh, and whenever someone gives you a weird look, just say "Ya, im really that big."

Of course this only works if your a big black dude.....

I just went through an international flight to Germany with 10ish Seroquels, 3 Concerta's and a few Diluadids.

Nothing happened, just as I suspected. It was in my carry on bag, which was also my entire luggage. If they would have asked about them I would have told them the truth*.

The Seroquels and Diluadids are to help me sleep through the flight. The Concerta's calm me down on takeoff and landing.

*The truth is a bit skewed, I have no trouble flying whatsoever. I was just pointing out what they COULD be used for.

I seriously doubt drug dog would be looking for heroin. First, they wouldn't teach the dogs to smell prescription opioids like morphine. Heroin's (aka Diacetylmorphine) chemical structure is very similar to morphine, and that would probably make them smell very similar.

I think the dogs are there for bombs, but I wouldn't be surprised if they also were taught to bark when they smell weed.

Novel idea:

Ingest the ketamine before you you board the plane.

Yeah, I'm sure the flight attendants wouldn't notice one of their passengers K-holing :P

ketamine would probably be an easier drug than most to get through security... i don't even think most dogs are trained to sniff for it... but i could be wrong...

So I'm back now. I decided not to even try it, as I was chosen for a "random search" on the flight over there. This was one thorough search! It took at least 5-10 minutes. The guy felt pretty close to my crotch, more than once. He also tucked his fingers into my belt and checked all around it. He even brushed his fingers through my hair!

I bet a lot of guys have gotten slapped for trying to get that far on a first date, let alone within the first 5 minutes... :p

But seriously though, that was enough to scare me out of trying to smuggle anything on with me when coming back.
