Buspar Efficacy
Went to the doc yesterday and got my Seroquel upped to 50's once daily and was given 10mg. Buspar's 2X daily. Anybody took this stuff for anxiety? I know it doesn't help with Social Anxiety, but I think the 'quels should help with that. I'm not expecting COMPLETE relief like a mg and a half of Xanax. Wiki said it had similar efficacy as Valium. Hard to believe, maybe the 21/2's?

Re: Buspar Efficacy
My cat was on it for anxiety and it didn't help him at all, your mileage may vary.

Re: Buspar Efficacy
I was put on buspar twice daily for a few months. It made me very, very disoriented and confused in the worst possible way... effectively eliminating anxiety. But the disorientation and confusion that came with it made it highly unpleasant, for me atleast. Good luck.

That doesn't sound like much fun. I really don't need that right now. FUCK
Hopefully it won't do that to me. Sounds like that could keep you fucked in the longterm too somehow.

Wow, really gotta protect yourself from the internet police when you're talking about a drug you were LEGITIMATELY PRESCRIBED.

Re: Buspar Efficacy
It helps, but I wouldn't compare it to Valium. Kinda does leave one disoriented and confused.

I take it you don't mean intoxicated.
This sounds like a nasty fucking drug. I'm going to give it a couple weeks and if I experience what was said then fuck it.
Anybody ever took Sinequan, any good? Anything else w/out nasty side effects besides S.S.R.I.'s or benzo's that works pretty well?

In a bad way. Buspar is pretty much like alcohol, but lacks ALL of the few positive attributes of alcohol.

my dog has been prescribed tramadol for a back injury. after he refused to take them (he hated the taste, if when we hid it in food he would fall for any tricks)
he gave them to me :)
