Default Lamictal and interactions

I recently started taking Lamictal (lamotrigine is the generic name; I think I spelled that right). For the next week I'm only on 25mg a day, then 50mg for the week after that, gradually increasing to somewhere >250mg. Which drugs will interact negatively with Lamictal?

I am on lamictal too. I've been on for about 3 months or so. I have taken cocaine, meth, ecstasy, and benzos w/o any problems or interactions.

Oddly, when I smoke marijuana I get high. Really, really high. It gets kinda uncomfotbale and if I smoke w/ other people I anaylize the SHIT out of everything and everyone and I get really anxious.

Salvia makes me freak the fuck out.

You also have bipolar disorder (I'm assuming) .and it is probally "bad" for you to smoke marijuana and take hallucenogens

get the fuck off it now. i was on antipsychotics/mood stabilizers for 6 months, NEVER AGAIN. haven't you read about the rash with lamictal? FUCK THAT. unless you have a very severe case, you're better off being bipolar.

It's Lamitrigone. It's worked very well for me. ESPECIALLY for depression. Only a couple manic relapses.

I've done 'cid, shrooms, coke, dex, weed, benzos, and opiates that I can remember since I started taking it. Experiences all seemed the same. Although, when I did the dex I got S.S.

The rash, I think it's Stevens-Johnson syndrome is extremely rare.

It's hard to believe, but Miele Vacuum just raised the bar on themselves' with this new top-of-the-line HEPA vacuum cleaner, sporting larger high efficiency fiber bags for more power and less bag changes. Enjoy finger tip controls for suction control, exceptionally easy swivel action, and other deluxe features such as bag change indicator, an extra long 29.5 length cord, and noise reduction. The Miele Capricorn vacuum cleaner is for those who would not be content with anything but the best. German made durability couples with European sleek styling for a vacuum cleaner that makes vacuuming almost pleasurable- what more could you ask for? Choose from two sizes of Powerbrush for your carpets, the lighter mid sized 10.5" SEB 217-3 or the SEB 236, a full sized 13 3/8" powerbrush. A luxury parquet floor brush for your hardwood floors is also included.

That was the perfect response, thank you.

As for lamictal I never had any drug interactions when taking it but then again i wasn't true bi-polar. If you actually are diagnosed bi-polar and it's not the psychiatrist grasping at straws then you don't want to be doing drugs in the first place. Sucks but there you go. Good luck mang.

I'm actually not bipolar; I have this odd mix of depression, anxiety (for which I get kpins :)) and occasional delusions. spl1ff, I've been on abilify, seroquel, prozac, zoloft, paxil, effexor, and briefly lamictal in the past. I agree that the antipsychotics are shit (and SSRIs give me a freakishly high fever), but I didn't notice anything different about the way I felt when I was on Lamictal before. Maybe I wasn't on it for long enough, but it just seemed to do absolutely nothing.

I haven't noticed myself getting any higher than usual when I smoke, but maybe I need to be on a larger dose.

criminalATlarge, how bad was the serotonin syndrome with DXM? I like robotripping but I'm not looking to go into a coma...

Nothing a couple ativan or xanax can't take care of.

In my case, and from what I've heard from everybody else I know who takes it, if it's going to work it should start immediately. I was started on 50mg. a day and built up to 150mg. after two weeks. I even noticed the 50mg's alleviating depression even though it's thought not to be in the therapeutic range. And it was not placebo effect.
