Retarded question
I've been smoking hash on a pretty regular basis for a few months now, obviously I'd have to be smoking in with tobacco. Now if I go a few hours without a joint I start to feel like shit and crave it. Is this some sort of mental addiction or have I become addicted to the tobacco in my joints?

The Fonz says smoking is bad. Fonzie hasn't steered me wrong so far so I'm inclined to believe him.

Re: Retarded question
I love how not one person has answered his question yet. It's the tobacco dude.. believe it or not smoking tobacco actually releases a small amount of dopamine in your brain.. it's not enough for you to notice a 'high' like if you did meth.. but once the extra dopamine decreases again (about half an hour to an hour) you will want tobacco again, whether you're consciously aware of it or not.

Re: Retarded question
Yeah, sounds like nicotine addiction. Welcome to the machine.
I quit smoking a month ago... (well, half-assed, have probably had 5-10 cigs in that time) and it's still a battle every fucking day.

Actually it was implied in pretty much every post, only a moron wouldn't get it.
And you have the whole nicotine addiction thing all wrong. :)

Ahhhh! wise master... You are exubidably correct in pointing out that it is in fact the nicotine that is addicted to me......
Actually its the release of da ACh which among other things increases the amplitude of the cannabinoid mediated dopamine "high" :o
not to mention permanent alteration and stimulation of nicotinic-ACh receptor growth activity.....

ACh isnt in the reward pathway. dopamine is the NT required for developing addiction.

Re: Retarded question
except you implied that the ACh is causing the addiction, which is untrue.
the same levels of ACh without dopamine would not cause addiction.
and dont call me a noob, 90% of the shit you post on this forum is ignorance
