Vitamins for everyday smokers.
All this talk of biochem and supplements has got me wondering, anyone have any useful links regarding what type of vitamins would be useful for those of us with daily cannabis habits?

Re: Vitamins for everyday smokers.
I've heard some people claim 5HTP works wonders, but I do not smoke weed and can not verify this.

Re: Vitamins for everyday smokers.
I'm not a "stoner," but I take...
A multi-vitamin
choline/inositol
piracetam
flax oil
...for general well-being. And...
L-tryptophan
vitamin C
vitamin B6
5-HTP
...for a little mood lift. But I don't like doing that too often, because it leaves me feeling drained at the end of the day, no matter how much vitamin C I pump into me (which I suppose prevents it from being metabolized into melatonin). I also just purchased some DHEA, but I don't know how I feel about it yet.
I'm interested in hearing some of your supplement regimens, regardless if you're a fervent pot smoker or not. I was thinking about making a thread for it, but I figure all these supplement threads suddenly popping up because of the L-phen are stating to get annoying.

Wow I take all these too! I didn't know there'd be other ppl.
Is the combo of l-tryptophan, Inositol, and 5-HTP working out for you serotonin-wise, as in, is there any noticeable difference in mood?
In fact, how 'bout piracetam?
Right now I'm not feeling any positive results from the regimen but I'm guessing since I work at a coffee shop and I drink a hell of a lot of caffeine I'm messing with the piracetam. I dunno about the tryptophan.
Anyways, I think it'd be pretty interesting if collectively totse came up with the most enhancing daily regimen plan. I'm a noobie at it so it'd be nice hearing from some more experienced ppl. I'm also looking for real working smart drugs...:)

Re: Vitamins for everyday smokers.
The inositol just came with the choline. It's supposed to increase the effectiveness of it. It's highly suggested that you take choline in combination with piracetam. Not only is it said to help in cognitive function, but it gets rid of those nasty *racetam-induced headaches.
From what I've noticed so far, I think L-trypto gives you more of a mood-boost than 5-HTP. Then again, I've been taking the trypto longer and more consistently than I have the HTP. I hear 5-HTP is a lot like antidepressants in that it has to be taken for X amount of time before it starts to kick in, where I've found L-trypto to be more immediate.

Re: Vitamins for everyday smokers.
Vitamin C definitely, but like someone else said, not a whole lot of it. Some people did a study and found that blasting your body with tons of vitamin C not only doesn't really help you fight sickness better, but it can also be slightly damaging.
Anyways I just take centrum every day, and i've found that I generally feel better and don't get sick as often. It's a good habit to take up.

Re: Vitamins for everyday smokers.
Plenty of water and solid foods. No eating bad munchies, eat real food. Along with a multivitamin, 5-htp, and melatonin before bedtime.

Re: Vitamins for everyday smokers.
I personally recently started taking L-Phenylalanine and 5-HTP, to keep my dopamine and serotonin levels at their best. I feel much less burned out than I used to, and I smoke usually 2 or 3 times a day. Works wonders
