For everything you have to do and learn you might as well just start from the ground up, it's cheaper, higher yielding and JUST AS EASY.

QFT. You could go all out and make a hell of a setup for under $90.

I'm bored as fuck and feeling generous, so I guess I'll even write a little supply list:

Inoculation Supplies
12 Mason jars- $8
Vermiculite- $8
Brown rice flour-$5
Spore syringe- $20
Total-$41

Get B+ as your first strain, they're very forgiving in case you fuck up. Get a 10cc syringe, which is enough to inoculate a dozen jars, from The Hawks Eye. (http://www.thehawkseye.com/spores.html) These are totally legal to buy, posses and sell, so don't give me any shit meta.

Google PF Tek and use that for setting up your jars. There's no need to write a guide when you could use that just as easily, and it works just fine if you follow the directions to the T.

Fruiting Chamber
10 gallon aquarium- $10
Plexiglass cut to fit on top-$5
Aquarium pump-$10
Aquarium airstone-$3
Perlite-$5
Small Tupperware box-$3
Thermometer- $2
Hygrometer (measures humidity)-$3
HEPA filter- $3
Hardware cloth- $5
Total-$49

First things first, the pump and airstone. The pump will pump in fresh air and help get rid of stale air and CO2. You will want to make a box with a filter for your pump so that you are sure you're getting the freshest air possible. To do this put the aquarium pump into the Tupperware box and close it, with a hole for the power cord and hose poked through it. Use a silicone sealant around these to make sure it's sealed. Then cut a hole across the top of the box and duct tape on the HEPA filter. Let it set for at least 24 hours to let the silicone dry and get rid of the vapors. Make sure it's totally sealed and the only air getting in is coming through the filter. Make the hose go to the aquarium, drill a hole through it to allow it to get through. Attatch the airstone to the hose and set it across the bottom of the aquarium. This will dissipate the air coming from the pump, giving it more surface area than if you just put the hose in. Attach the thermometer and hygrometer to the side of the aquarium. Now spread the perlite 2.5" deep across the bottom of the aquarium over top of the airstone. At this time you should turn on your pump, and put .5" of water in. If you don't have your pump on then the water will go through the tubing, back to the pump and the water will fuck it up. Set the piece of plexiglass on top of the aquarium and tape it off so no air can get in or escape. Drill 5 1/8" holes in the glass and plug up 3 of them. Make a stand for your colonized cakes out of the hardware cloth. Bend it so the cakes are aprox. 1/2" above the perlite.

Now let it run for a day and come back. Optimum humidity is 85-95%, if it is higher unplug one of the 1/8" holes you drilled, if it is lower plug one of them up. Temperature should be from 70* to 75*, if it's too low put a heating pad close to it, if it's too high put a fan facing it. If it is too high you won't get any pins, too low there will be stalling of the growth.

You should be able to fit up to 8 cakes in this. If you see the water getting below 1/4", fill it 1/2" above the bottom. This setup is the best since all you have to do after the initial setup is monitor the water level and you don't have to worry about fanning it out or any of that bullshit.

Grand total for this is $90, which is what an ounce of shrooms goes for in my area. Do everything right and you'll have 20X that dry weight.

^ Or use this guide (http://www.shroomery.org/8411/The-Magic-Mushrooms-Growers-Guide), which is very similar but gives you useful and cheap alternatives. No aquarium? Just use 2-L soda bottles. :)
