Have a line stuck in your head but just don't know what to do about it? Well this is the thread to post lyrics, random clips, or videos of songs you just can't seem to remember.

First reply, but yeah i got a song im wondering who does it. Its like alphabetical slaughter by papoose or the alphabet arobics by blackolicious. But I think its another group and they rap and go through the alphabet and in between there like "im talkin to you you you and all ya nigger sittin in the back, the middle and the front" or some shit like that. Anyone know what song this is?

Any idea when that clip was made? Because it could be something of Maiden's or something from Bruce's solo career (I haven't heard anything from it, just thinking it might be a good place to look). I personally think it's generic music made to sound like Maiden. But if it is by Maiden it's not from the first 7 studio albums.

Could be. I assume that it's an Iron Maiden song because the opening theme to the show is Run To The Hills. The show was probably filmed in 2000 something.

I gotta song I'm looking for...
it's an OLD song, an instrumental. It's got a real humorus tone to it, and is played with horns (I think). It's pretty fast, and you hear it alot in comedies, like during a chase scene. I think it was used on the south park episode where they had a news show and had a scene with dogs in hats. Anyway, you could play it over anything and it has the ability to make it funny.

Re: Offical "What Song is This?" Thread 2
I'm looking for this rap song with a sampling that sounds like a sort of repeated little bit that they'd play in an old Godzilla or disaster movie. The sort of heavy sounding "duh duh... duh". I was told it's by Fatlip, but I couldn't find it, I don't think it's actually by them.
Another song I'm looking for is also a rap song where the sound of a clicking gun is sampled as part of the chorus. Something like "roll with my *click-click*, sleep with my *click-click*, put you 6-foot deep with my *click-click*." Something kinda like that. I'm not too sure though.

Alright, what's the name of the song in the movie "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" right after Earth is destroyed? It's an acoustic guitar riff that sounds pretty damn awesome to me. I'm afraid that it might just be a short piece made for the movie, but on the off chance that it's an actually song I thought it would be a good idea to ask here.
This is what the IMDB lists as the soundtrack for the flick:
"So Long & Thanks for All the Fish"
"Magic Moments"
"Shoo-Rah, Shoo-Rah"
"Here I Am (Come and Take Me)"
"Journey of the Sorcerer"
I'm pretty damn sure that it isn't any of these songs. I doubt that anyone will know, but hey, it's worth a shot.
EDIT: Fuck, am I dumb. The song was "Journey of the Sorcerer", if anyone is interested.

This song is off of the movie War: Rogue Assassin. It plays at the point where Rogue is getting dressed and then loads his gun with the titanium shell. Any ideas? I don't think it's on the soundtrack.

Firstl props to Essjay, he carves these threads up.
This one might be tricky...
I don't have a video clip to show all I can tell you is that it's from Channel Nine Australias TV series 'Underbelly' - Unless you've seen this, or have a copy you won't be able to help
Anyhow here it goes I am after 2 songs
#1 The CD Alphonse puts in the CD player at the beginning of the show at the St Kilda Party that plays that very familiar classical music (Italian??)
#2 The Bar Scene. When Jason and Alphonse run wild in the Sports Bar - The music that accompanies that scene - Fast dance sort of music.

It's used in Being John Malkovich trailer, and many others... I think Adaptation too...
I can't find the damn song, and I figured SG would be a much better place for this type of thing than the actual music forum... more diverse knowledge.
Anyone know? Help very much appreciated.

Ok I heard this at my local subway, playing over the speakers. This is a remix upbeat club type song. It had the same beat/tune as "big big world", different lyrics, the only ones I remember were 'one two three' and 'you and me' and even those im not 100% on. The singer sounded like a synthesised asian chick.

Re: Offical "What Song is This?" Thread 2
Requesting two songs.
I forgot this first one, might find it in my external hard drive but oh well. It's a Eurodance Song, begins with "Always be with you"
some lyrics:
"Now that I found you, and I can't let go, and I'll always be with you".
Sung by a female.
Another song, It sounds liek something DJ Tiesto or so would do. It's played in the beginning of the Venture Brothers. Played last night, dealt with the Doctor Venture dealing with his sons' death and 'finding himself' afterward, Brock Samson finds him and drags him back with a tranquilizer.
Aired at last night's Venture Brothers Episode, the first one and the beginning before the OP
EDIT: this episode, wikipedia article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powerle..._Face_of_Death
EDIT 2: nevermind. this video says "The song used in the video is a cover version of "Everybody's Free" covered by Aquagen. The original song is by Rozalla."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhvXol3md08
But I still wonder of the original song
EDIT 3: Fuck it in general. I know the first song was YBZ-Now that I found you.

I'm trying to find out what the guitar riff in Blood Duster's Forthoseabouttofuck is based on/
The intro bell is AC/DC's Hell's Bells, the drum and feedback is Slayer's Raining Blood but I can't seem to work out what that guitar riff is based on. I know there's a chance that it's just something of theirs, but I swear that I've heard it in an old rock/metal song.
The link will probably die in a week, if it does I'll just make a shitty youtube video or something.

It'll be 'Paper Planes' by MIA if it also includes a chorus that sounds like it's by immigrant English schoolgirls.

One of the most infamousscores ever, it's called O'fortuna by Carmina Burana, get the version done by Apocalyptica, they kick arse.
I ask who sings the song from about 5 to 10 years ago called 'Kevin Spacey' ?
The main line is 'I wanna be Kevin Spaceeeeey!... ...Kevin Spacey.'
Google, lyrics websites, youtube don't turn up results. I would like it for a project.

This, and does anyone know that song that starts with an undulating easy rock beat then goes into a slightly happy-toned intro of what sounds like a bunch of guys in a bar going 'dum na-na dulluh na na' repeatedly?
EDIT: And I want these two songs as well if anyone knows them:
One that sounds like a demented Clutch tribute band singing their own song with the lyrics in it 'cookin up a Phillipino box spring hog' (Sounds like its a reference to spit roasting a phillipino bride hoo-ahh)

Well, waiting helps. There's still plenty of things in this thread that haven't been answered, some just don't get answered because it's either a song no one knows of or the description given isn't good enough. Hell, if you can hum the melody of the song then record it and upload it somewhere, then post it here.

Re: Offical "What Song is This?" Thread 2
during the credits of harold and kumar go to guantanamo bay, there was this song that went "i wake up every morning praising god every day, i wanna smoke, and roll me a j."
as soon as the song ended, it went to the scene with neil patrick harris getting up after being shot
does anyone know it?

That one I do know:
Bizarre - Gospel Weed Song
I thought it might have been that song, but I had to go see what was on the soundtrack to make sure that was definately it.

Re: Offical "What Song is This?" Thread 2
Alright. I got another one. It think it's a late 80's/early 90's song. Deep Grunge style vocals, like Pearljam or Seven Mary Three.
I have no idea what the lyrics are. I just remember the song rocks like hell.
I do have somewhat of an idea what the main riff goes like. This is my tab transcription of it(played on the G-string).
5--7--10----7---5--7----10----7---5--7--10----7---12---10--9--5--5
Now, to confuse you even more..It was a word that sounded something like voyeur, or fire. Pretty much the only part of the lyric I remember.
Sung like this(twice, several times throughout the song):
Viee errrrrrrrrrr urrrrrrrrr ayeee err urrrr
Much more common song...I think somebody will know it.
Edit- The Cult - Firewoman

Whats the song in the background?
Anyone who knows reggae could probably tell me, I used to listen to alot of it but now I've forgotten .. lol.. it was the best jam to roll around in that Escalade truck going 20 mph down the road with smoke flowing out all 5 windows with the cool night air blowing..
