No, you might as well be injecting acetone into your liver.

It wouldn't be completely the same because the chemicals used to convert the isopropanol into acetone would be working directly upon the acetone and its impurities. Also, whatever isopropanol wasn't converted would still have its effect on you along with the acetone having its own effects. My chem knowledge is really scattered as of late, so I can't give you specifics on how and why what turns into what.
