Methocarbamol? Not really. It's an anti-convulsant/anti-spasm. My dad used to take it when he had back pain(disk spasms).

No, you are thinking of methadone. If you are new to opiates, this is a painkiller you should avoid at all costs.
The high is incredibly strong, plus it will last from 10-48 some hours. Most people take some, and don't feel it within a few hours and dose again. Since the doses last so long, overdosing is possible.
From what In understand, methadone is the easiest opiate to overdose from because of the potency/duration.
