Science 101.....
I have a basic understanding of physics, chemistry and biology, could someone post some links to reliable literature, which goes beyond that?
Preferably Quantum physics. Also scientific theories on how the universe was created, etc etc.

Are you trolling?
Nothing wrong with wikipedia for learning science.
You are not doing Ph.D level research.

Re: Science 101.....
I hate people that put down wikipedia and say its not credible or that its full of bad information some guy put up there to mess with people. If you look hard enough into any document you will find a few errors here and there. Now granted wikipedia is not a good resource for a research paper or something like that its is a damn good resource for someone that wants to learn the basics of a subject. Hell the first thing I do when I have to write a paper is wiki the subject to get the basic info.

Re: Science 101.....
is a brief history of time any good? i saw it in the bookshop the other day, and was tempted to get it (although alas, i was broke). it seems to be _the book_ for a basic understanding of whatever it is that the book is about.
i like these kinds of books about physics (i don't think there are many about chemistry. perhaps the metaphors get too obscure and complicated for the public?)
what do those in the know think of it?

Re: Science 101.....
It's a bit naff in my opinion, though it's been so long since I even picked up my copy I'm afraid I can't remember why I think that...
