Default Mars Meteorite In Antarctica

Obviously we know or dont know there have been at least 34 of these landing on Earth since july 2000, as a result of asteriods having an impact on mars, then propelling the debris to our planet.

My concern is that all the planets in our solar system, seem to have these devastating impacts, where as we have none(you may here in the papers we were close off by a couple of days, but thats it really).

Have we got a defense which we can deal with this matter, do you think?

I heard on T.V a few weeks ago that the amount of people involved with solving that problem is enough to fill half a shift at Burger King.

I wonder if it's because the defense system that could be theoretically already in place would be of the Top Secret variety, as a way to cloak our technological advances from our neighbor's wandering eyes?

Every "asteroid crashing into earth" depiction on T.V. and movies has been that of a frightened public depending on One Good Man (usually a very calm and level-headed President with a Plan B already in his back pocket) to "save us" from that kind of disaster. Of course, the movies always depict a happy ending. There's no telling what kind of precautions are in place, if any. Seems like if we were under the threat of giant space rocks crashing into earth, there wouldn't be a whole lot we could do to prevent mass human casualties from happening.

I think we are already dead.
see we all died back in the seventies when an asteroid crashed into earth.
the reality we are in now, it's heaven, we just don't know that we're really dead.

I don't think we're in heaven. I'm sitting in a room filled with tacky paintings. There are no tacky paintings in heaven.
