We went out to a decent restaurant(name's not important.) And since it was the first time we've all gone out together, I decided to get something that wasn't too costly. I got hamburg+fries, and for a drink I got water. I thought everything was going well, but when she called me later that night I was sadly mistaken. I guess her dad doesn't like me because I ordered water...I wouldn't normally order water, but this time was different. So S&A what should I do to get back on his good side?

In my own experience, I would say be really nice for a bit and if her dad still isn't nice to you. Don't bother, be rude to him or treat him exactly how he treats you, don't go out of your way for him.

Eventually you'll probably have an argument and will have to sort it out, when you sort it out you will be able to connect emotionally...then you will be on his good side :)
