Stem tea
So i'm saving some stems to throw in some boiling water. Question is how much do I need to make good stem tea? To get good tasting tea, and ideally enough to get me high. Obviously bud stems.

Re: Stem tea
Since cannabinoids aren't soluble in water, it won't get you high.
:)
Maybe Bhang?

Re: Stem tea
If you put oil, milk, alcohol, or other fats/alcohols in it, it will absorb the THC. However, there just isn't enough THC on stems to get someone high. It's a myth... Just like putting the stems in-between your lip and teeth and sucking on them will get you high... It's just a bunch of bullshit that stays alive by ignorant kids passing it on without doing any research themselves...

Of course it will make tea. Do you enjoy the taste of cannabis?

It will get you high, and more often than not higher than the bcsters that flood everywhere. Problem is you should have at least an ounce of stems to make it worth while.

It is really strong, especially with the addition of keef (empty a tea bag and restaple it after you've half-filled it). The tea should be potent enough to flavor 16 oz of water.

There are other fat soluble cannibinoids in stems other then just thc. There is actually very little THC in the stems as you said but the other cannibinoids can be released with heat and some fat. Admittedly, some stem + leaf tea would have been a better choice. Make some chai tea with milk and honey in a pot on your stove or in a thermos if you're trying to be stealthxcore.

Re: Stem tea
THC is soluble in water to 2.8 grams per liter.
It means you need a shit load of THC.

Re: Stem tea
if you had hundreds of pounds of stems, and used something cannabinoids are soluble in, it might be worth it....then again, why anyone would have hundreds of pounds of stems laying around is way beyond me.

filling a tea bag with kief doesn't sound like a bad idea. if i get a shit load of stems and a hour or so of time on my hand, i'm gonna try some stem tea.

Re: Stem tea
wouldn't the milk in the chai just skim and make it task like shit all over again? I've never made chai tea before, so I might just be confused.
