I have the oppurtunity to buy a 40 mg methadone pill for 35 dollars. Is this a rip off, or an okay deal? Also, for those of you who have tried methadone, is it dangerous? For some reason I have some strange stigma tworads it just because so many have died from it. Whats an appropriate dosage for a first timer trying this drug?

As for dose you might want to try ten milligrams for your first try, I personally did thirty mg but I weigh alot. The pill should divide into fourths simply take one of these fourths and that'll be 10mg.

It's dangerous because it has a long onset and can last as long as thirty six hours. Because of this people tend to redose either before it's started working or after they think it has stopped and overdose in this mannner.


Additionally: I may be mistaken about this but I think most opiates/opiods will be ineffective while on methadone and possibly 36 hours afterward so don't waste your drugs.

Thanks for the information. Is this drug dangerous? I have little to no tolerance to opiates, i've ocassionally done hydrocodone and oxycodone and want to try methdone. Should I put my fears of oding to rest if I just will be taking 10 mg's of done?

Yeah dude you should be fine with 10mg but it want do much either. If you want a better high you need to find methadone's ld50 figure it out for your weight and just stay way the fuck away from that number

iirc its around 50mg...

start with 10... in 3 hours if your not where you want to be take another 5... bump it up by 5mg every few hours until your where you want to be for the next day or so...

huge ripoff, but if I was desperate..I'd do it.
