UPS/Fedex/AE/DHL are private couriers and reserve the right to inspect any parcel for any reason. How frequently that happens, who knows? Probably not too often, but the fact remains that they can and will open whatever whenever.

USPS cannot open a package without some sort of reason/probable cause/whatever you want to call it. What that criteria is, I don't know, though.

When it comes down to it, I'd trust USPS over a private courier.

but anyway, theirs a UPS down the street from my house I'm thinking about working at since its easy as fuck to get hired(everyone does). I have a few friends who work there, one time a white powder was spilling out of a box.. they opened it, and it was full of a white powder (my friend said cocaine) but no one got any of it.

AFAIK it is still illegal for FedEx or UPS to open your shit. However, as they are private, that would not stop what they find from being used against you.

Whereas, the USPO are of the government. As such they can not open your shit without a warrant. If you're gonna ship drugs, I would say the USPO is the best chance at not getting popped.

But it is also pretty fucking dumb to mail drugs. Not just from the risk if you get caught. If it was that I wouldn't say shit since you can wrap up shit pretty tight. But shit happens and even the best of precautions can sometimes be overcome. And if you get caught it is a Federal offense. And that kinda trouble just ain't worth the amount of drugs you're sending.

i worked at a ups office as part of a co-op for a school i was going to and i shadowed an inspection of the dfw facility and read through alot of books, the stuff on drugs said if any was suspected, that the package had to be detained, opened, and if confirmed drugs were found, the dea would be contacted if it was interstate, customs if it was internationally. didnt really remember much on how they did know what was in the package, but i guess if they can find out that hazardous chemicals are being shipped, they can _possibly_ find drugs, although it wouldnt be as much risk if it was pharmeceuticals. but ups screens their shit, and they dont want hazardous chemicals being transported without their knowledge, so pharms would possibly be fine, other chems, falls into a grey area.

USPS is the BEST way, they dont do anything with youre mail except send it. Sometimes express mail is looked at though. Dont send express

how about on the buyer side, is it a federal offense for them too? also when ordering from most vendors do you have to sign for the package normally or should that be a red flag for the buyer?

My mom worked for fedex a few years ago and she said people smuggle shit without getting caught all the time. They only check a small % of the packages and the checks are done randomly. IF you wanted to ensure a package is not checked its really pretty simple. If you mail your package from one business to another there is basically no chance it will be checked. Security skips the business packages because they figure MOST drugs will be sent from one person to another.

If you make a fake business or have a friend in a real one, the shipping label will read something like ABC company's shit to 123s companies address as opposed to Jonny fake names mystery box to Sketchy Joe. Its much less suspicious.

Of course security knows about this little trick, but its impossible to stop. Theres too many corporate packages to check with only a small chance of finding something. Its much easier for security to check personal shipments, which are more likely to contain drugs.

I would feel safe sending something illegal through Fedex, I have insider info that they only check a few packages.

He is right. My aunt used to be postmaster for michigan, and she told me the exact same thing. Never send express, and do not have a steady schedule of shipments, keep it random.
