Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
Hey guys. I just wanted to know about the difference between oxazepam and oxycodone. I know they're both benzodiazepine opiate derivatives, and they both have abuse potential.
What I need to know is dosage comparison. For example, how many mg of Oxazepam would you need to match say, 30mg of Oxycodone?
It has the same legal status as oxycodone, but in terms of potency my research says it has -
"Relatively weak anxiolytic sedative and skeletal muscle relaxant properties."
Wikipedia :(
But the question i'm asking is how much weaker?
Thanks.

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
I don't think there is going to be much pain relief while taking oxazepam, it's a benzo.
haha the positive part is that you'll be too fucked up to care about the pain.
or blacked out.

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
Oxazepam is a benzo and is also a metabolite of diazepam..
Oxycodone is an opiate, a fun one.
Their only similarity is in the first 2 letters of their name and the fact they're both downers.
Now if you had've looked down a bit further on the wiki article you would have found the prescribed dose for severe anxiety is 15-30mg...
sooo, would it be reasonable to assume that doubling that may produce worthwhile effects?
Probably nowhere near oxycodone but a nice sedation atleast.
Oh and learn your fucking shit. :)

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
My bad.
Yeah. I'm not a fan of reading the whole article.
I'll just 2.5x the dose on account of my tolerance, because, you know, i'm so hardcore and all
Thanks :)

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
All I know is that snorted/chewed oxycodone is great for getting fucked up the fastest. I suppose if you were to inject Oxazepam you would get a litle euphoria from imediate sedation.
but in all other words, Oxy>Oxaze

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
Yeah, I really want to try and stay away from IV'ing anything...not that i'm scared of needles, i just know i would fuck it up somehow and get an embolism :(:(
Took the two avanzas instead. Woke up the next day with my fat asian friend sleeping in the next bedroom and no memories of the previous night. In conclusion,
Oxy>diazepam>mirtazapine>freaking oxaze.

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
Really, you should be more worried about becoming severely hooked on shooting drugs more than an embolism. Most people can't stop shooting drugs once they start. By that I mean, if they have the option (And they usually make it an option, even with pills) they will always choose to shoot something.

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
I don't get euphoric from oxazepam but I certainly get the benzo chill. Even at doses like 10mg. I'm also able to distinguish drug effects really well(my mom is sensitive to all kinds of drugs-which may be why I can distinguish them) so that may be why I get fucked up easier.
FTR: Don't compare benzos to opiates, each one is unique and completely different then the other.

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
yeah, i had that too. i went to the park and just chilled with my friend, and i wanted to just lie down and look at the sky.
but he didn't want to get grass on his legs cos it was cut the day before :(
I'm still annoyed that the oxaze didnt affect me. I had more than enough to feel the effects, 60mg. maybe its just me. everything else works fine

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
Why are you even comparing the two? Their not even in the same class of drugs, ones an opiate and the other is a benzo...

Re: Oxazepam VS Oxycodone
for 'me':
oxy > weed, alcohol, meth, acid, mdma, dxm, psilocyben , cocaine, nicotene, benzos , other opiates.
more fun and enjoyable than weed or alcohol. not as euphoric as meth or E, or sometimes coke but i find there aren't as many down sides to taking oxy.
benzos suck as far as im concerned. not very euphoric they just make you tired. and as far as hallucinogens go i used to love them but as of now i don't like being that out of my mind.
